2. Scheduled Preparation

4. Identify Important Topics to Score Better
In bank exams, there are certain topics which would help you fetch more marks in the examination. Giving importance to such topics can help you score well. Try to identify those topics from every section and practice more.
5. Attempt mock test
Attempting the mock test will help you understand your proficiency in each section. 6. Don’t bother about mock marks

8. Screen the Loopholes
After attempting a mock test or after solving a previous paper it is very important to identify your weak areas and practice accordingly. Identifying the weak areas would help you to rectify it in the real examination. Always try to solve questions of different difficult level rather than roaming around easier ones.
9. Frequent Revision
Simply studying doesn’t make you exam ready. After studying or doing mocks, review them frequently to memorize your mistakes, so that you can avoid it in the real exam. Analyzing previous year papers would also help you in familiarizing with the exam level questions in order to crack bank exams.
10. Maintain the Flow

Current affairs play a vital role in clearing the bank exams especially the mains examination. Usually, questions from last 6 months from the date of the exam are asked in the mains examination. 13. English Newspaper

14. Memorize Formulas and Use Shortcut Methods
You can memorize the important formulas and shortcuts especially in quantitative aptitude from different topics for faster calculation. Memorizing the multiplication table up to a minimum of 20, Squares of numbers up to 40, and cubes till 20 You can also try Vedic calculation tricks since it helps to save a lot of time especially in the prelims exam where every second count. Using short tricks helps to save time in Data Interpretation and Miscellaneous questions.
15. Increase Speed and Accuracy
Attempting questions from different topics is the key to increase your speed and accuracy in the examination. You have to practice a minimum of 5 questions from every topic in each section.
Practicing simplification and approximation questions on a daily basis will also help in speedy calculation. You can also figure out shortcut methods on English and Reasoning section on your own. Regular practice of different questions from topics like syllogism, inequality, blood relation in Reasoning and solving Reading Comprehension type questions, cloze test would also help you in time saving.
16. Prelims and Mains should go Hand in Hand
This is the one of the mistakes aspirants commit while preparing for the examination. Most of them have the mindset of preparing only for the prelims and not mains. Usually, after the release of the prelims result hardly 20 days would be left for the mains examination, and preparing those high levels DI and Puzzles is literally unthinkable. So, it is very important to prepare for mains along with preliminary. Try to solve 1-2 high level puzzles and Data interpretation right after clearing your basics.
17. Adapt Own Strategy
This is one another mistake done by most of the aspirants. They tend to blatantly follow another person’s strategy for exam preparation and ends up procrastinating. We suggest you not to follow another person fully. Rather than following one dumbfounded, try to listen their strategy and preparation tips and prepare a new one which would be beneficial to you. This is very important if you aim to crack the exam in the very first attempt itself.
18. Take Enough Breaks
It is really impossible to study continuously for several hours. Attempting studying without breaks would end up in damaging your health in the long run. Always remember that no exams can compensate your health and well being. Give yourself breaks during study hours by taking a brief walk or listening to music or reading a good book. These will rejuvenate you and helps in better understanding.
19. Keep Patience
Attempting exams sometimes feel like literally sitting on a hot bowl. Due to immense stress, candidates may cause mistakes which will end up in negative marking.
