NIACL Assistant Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2021

NIACL Assistant exam is conducted by New India Assurance Company Ltd. for the recruitment of assistants of Class III cadre from the open market. New India Assurance Company Ltd. is a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company with branches in every part of India. In the last notification, NIACL invited application for 685 posts.

NIACL Eligibility Criteria

There are certain requirements to fulfill before sitting in the exam of NIACL Assistant. Both General and educational requirements are mentioned in the following table.

General Criteria

  • The age of candidate must be between 21 and 30.
  • Upper age relaxation has been provided for candidates of certain categories:

SC/ST 5 years
OBC 3 years
PWD 10 years
Ex-servicemen/ Disabled Ex-servicemen The actual period of service + 3 years, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.
Widows, Divorced women & legally separated single women 5 years
J&K domiciled candidates during 1-1-80 to 31-12-89 5 years
Existing Employees of NIACL 5 years

NIACL Assistant Preliminary Test Exam Pattern

This is the first phase of NIACL assistant selection process. The question paper will be in English and Hindi both, except the English language section. Candidates need to pass each section separately as there will be sectional cutoffs. Tier I is just qualifying in nature. Find the NIACL assistant exam pattern for this phase (tier I) below:

NIACL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern

All tier I qualified candidates are eligible for Tier II or Main Examination. This test will be of 250 marks and the total duration of the test is 120 minutes. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum total score or qualifying marks in the main examination. Find the NIACL assistant main exam pattern below:

Educational Criteria

  1. Candidates must have graduated in any stream from a recognized University.
  2. Candidates must have English in SSC/HSC/Intermediate/Graduation as a subject.
  3. Candidate must be proficient in the state language of the state from where he/she has applied.
